Commenting on "Hong Kong third wave: coronavirus may have stopped mutating, making it more infectious

I have a hypothesis why children appear to be dormant spreaders at present.
The virus has "intelligence". It relies on a host to multiply and spread. According to a report in HK, the process of mutation seems to have stopped in Hong Kong, because the genome of the virus of infected incoming travellers from other nearby Asian countries seem to be the same as the Hong Kongers’. What this means, the virus has mutated and adapted to the human body environment. That also implies the virus is now more infectious, dangerous and powerful.
The European, UK and US virus variants are different from the Chinese, and that can only be explained by mutation to adapt to the different genetic makeup of non-Asian / non-Chinese
When the virus infected a child, it "knows" the life span of the child is longer, and adapt to the child's body environment, and multiple without causing the host to die, and therefore the child exhibits no symptoms. The virus stay low until the right time to strike, and even with the discovery of vaccine, it may not be able to counteract the the mutated virus.
I can't think of any explanation except to base on the "theory" related to "the survival of the fittest".
Very young children are much shorter than an adult, and any aerosol that carries the virus eventually fall due to gravity is likely to be the same as "light illumination intensity", inversely proportional to the radius square. The viral load is much lower as it gets closer to the ground.
Young children also has small palm surface area, and also contributes to less virus adhere to the contact area.
