This is the prediction I made and I wish it will never realise. However, I believe my fear will surface soone

I have blogged repeatedly that my biggest fear is that children will be the super spreaders who cause the biggest wave of infection and fatality.

I really want to see that all children tested, whether they show signs of infection or not, because they are more than likely to be asymptomatic and with long incubation.

Until now, I still cannot work out how medical professionals and scientists hold the opinion that children are considered low risk, without sufficient number of children being tested.

My logic tells me otherwise, and more research must be done hopefully to remove that myth.

I just want to reiterate that children are so susceptible to many diseases and viral infection, such as whooping cough, small pox, measles, polio, etc., and therefore it makes no sense that they can escape this deadly pandemic.

It is just nonsensical that children are exempted from wearing masks, because the existing statistics tell those experts so. Infant infection cases and mortality are slowing increasing, as reported by children hospital. If the researches in the the linked article are proven realisable and correct, then parents with infected children are likely to have a higher viral load because of their close proximity to the children.

I was brought up in a family with Chinese background, and my early childhood illnesses were cured by herbal medicine. Avoidance of eating certain foods for different type of coughs, and inclusion of offals for iron essential for the red blood cells were common.

Such practices worked, despite the lack of scientific evidence, data or hard statistics to prove the effectiveness until later years when herbal medicine became an accepted discipline to pursue in universities in China and abroad.

In an early study by the China authority, children were found as easily infected as adults, but they were asymptomatic. Will any of our states take an proactive preemptive strike to study the infection rate of young children and whether they will present a big risk to the community?

Prevention is better than cure.
